On Tuesday, Alicia came to help us in the garden. It was hard work because we needed to dig out the weeds and turn the gardens to get ready to plant new vegetables next week.

Today, Room 3 was treated to a performance by our talented violinists. This group first picked up a violin only a couple of months ago. They are tutored each week by Liz, who volunteers her time to teach our students. Next term they are off to Hastings to perform!

Making Soup for our School Community
When we decided to plant a garden at Corinna School, our big dream was to be able to grow fruits and vegetables so that we could make some healthy foods to share with the school and our Community.
Well, over the school holidays, with all the rain, our garden grew and grew!!!
Our Bok Choi, Broccoli, Kael, Silver beet and herbs, were particular growing very well.
We decided to make Broccoli soup to share.
Our ingrediants were broccoli, kael, onion, potatoes, garlic, and vegetable stock.
It was delicious!! Thanks Diana for coming in to help us with the cooking :-)
